Since 1984, Southern Eagle Distributing, Inc. has been serving the Treasure Coast’s fi nest Anheuser-Busch
brews under the leadership of Peter W. Busch, CEO and owner. With the Budweiser and Bud Light family of
beers as the core brands, Southern Eagle’s distribution grew to some 60 brands of domestic beers, including
its fl avored malt beverage line.
With changing lifestyles and a broadening of tastes, Southern Eagle over the years began distributing
imported beers, including Grolsch, Modelo and Corona. “But we still needed something more to off er our
customers,’’ said Busch, descendant of Adolph Busch, a German immigrant who founded the Anheuser
Busch dynasty in 1864. So this summer, Southern Eagle added a new portfolio of Premium European
Imports from the InBev Corporation.
Based in Leuven, Belgium. InBev traces its roots to 1366, and today it is the leading global brewer
by volume. InBev’s strategy is to strengthen its position in the market by off ering premium
products, world-class effi ciency and by putting consumers fi rst. InBev has a
portfolio of more than 200 brands, including Stella Artois, Brahma, Beck’s,
Leff e and Skol - the third-largest selling beer brand in the world. Along
with the Premium Import line of beers, Rolling Rock and Rolling Rock
Green Light have also been added to the menu.
Today, Southern Eagle has a brand portfolio of more than 100 diff erent
fl avors available in more than 500 packages. Th e distributorship boasts
a sales force of 150 employees and 45 delivery trucks, not to mention a
