of Refuge from 1 to 4 p.m. with music, holiday decorations
and light refreshments. Admission is free with the donation

While the Elliott Museum plans a temporary move to another
facility while the new building is constructed, museumgoers
can still visit beginning Jan. 7 to see a retrospective
of the highlights of the museum. Focusing on past exhibitions
and history makers, it is one of the museum’s 50th anniversary
celebration events. The exhibit will continue until
the museum is closed, at a date yet to be determined.
One of the most popular Elliott Museum events is the
Annual Car Show, now in its 15th year. It will be held at the
Witham Field, Stuart Airport, on Sunday, March 13, from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for
children. It is a rain or shine event.
Featuring more than 200 classic and vintage car collectors
exhibiting their vehicles, it draws several thousand car
enthusiasts to look over these rare and expensive vehicles.
