Binder generally serves wine, cheese and fresh fruit but says,
“We do not have any special entertainment so as to keep the
focus on the artist’s presentation.” A year ago, Rare Earth had
a complete makeover, from pottery shop — although pottery
is still hand thrown in the studio there — to complete gallery,
featuring the work of 60 prize-winning artists. Gallery Nights
have given the Binders an opportunity to showcase that
makeover and introduce their patrons to their new look as
well as the extended roster of artists.
One of the organizers of Fort Pierce ArtWalk, Alison Cunningham
of Blue Palm Studios, says the event includes not
just galleries but restaurants and shops, and the Sunrise
Theatre sometimes schedules a performance that tops off the
