the new hospital offers general and
specialized medical care, general

imaging and laboratory services are

In its first year, the medical
center is anticipating 30,000 visits
to its emergency department, 6,000
patient admissions and 1,500 births.
The six-floor structure was designed
to expand as needed in the future,
with an eventual total capacity of
300 beds.
Hospital officials toured medical
centers in Virginia, Wisconsin and
Seattle for input on design of the
new building. The mechanical elements
are housed on the third floor,
