Glad to be back
Welcome back to Port St. Lucie Magazine. If you are new to the area and haven’t
seen our magazine previously, here’s our story:
We are natives of St. Lucie County who became business partners eight
years ago and started the Indian River Magazine company. At first, we
began publishing our flagship Indian River, a publication that covers St. Lucie, Martin and
Indian River counties and today is the leading magazine on the Treasure Coast. We were
fortunate in subsequent years to publish additional magazines, and today we also produce
and publish Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce magazines as well as the playbill for the Sunrise
Theatre, the business directory for the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, the travel
guide for the St. Lucie County Tourist Development Council and various publications for
Indian River State College, the Children’s Home Society and many others.
In short, we publish anything that reflects the beauty and dynamism of St. Lucie County
and the Treasure Coast. We hope we’ve achieved that with this edition of Port St. Lucie
Magazine. From the opening of the new hospital at Tradition Page 8, to the arrival of the
New York Mets for spring training Page 14, to successful efforts to keep Port St. Lucie
Beautiful Page 20, to the people who make Port St. Lucie special Page 28, we didn’t have
to search far to find interesting stories about exciting things happening here.
