“Each one of them has a song. OK, I’m a little strange, but
I created a song for each goat that I sing to them. It has their
name in it, so when I want their attention, I sing their song.”
Dollins grows lettuce and green beans and also cultivates
loofa, a member of the cucumber family that grows in gourds
on vines. She makes soapy loofa pads, using soap made from
milk provided by her goats.
“I find myself connected with nature and with God
through farming,” she said. “It’s a beautiful and wondrous
life, fifilled with learning and hard work.””
The goats like to spend down time relaxing on their owner’s lap.
The goats get a bath in a washtub.
