quite successfully by maximizing north light into all of the
spaces.” A studio with north light is an artist’s dream, and the
Elliott’s new art studio has plenty of it. That’s the spacious
area right behind the exterior north wall of floor-to-ceiling,
double-pane, high-impact windows.
ROOM FOR ART
Studio coordinator Robin Lee Makowski looks forward to
a flurry of activity in the new space. “The Studio is a working
artists’ studio and classroom,” She says. There will be classes
and workshops for all ages, summer art camps for the younger
set and life draw sessions each week, Makowski says.
