TASTE OF THE TREASURE COAST

Guests can opt to dine in the comfortable garden-like room surrounded by
plants and soothing fountains at Casa Bella.
Profeta learned much of how to create his mouthwatering
dishes from his grandmother, a chef from Italy. Since high
school he has worked in restaurants, quickly climbing the
ladder to a position as executive chef. When he had the opportunity
to own his own restaurant in Stuart, he took it. “I’m
very passionate about what I do,” Profeta said.
He works hard in the kitchen to make dishes from scratch
with the freshest ingredients and offers an extensive wine
list. He aims for quality food in the old Key West-style house
modeled after the restaurants and villas he frequents in his almost
annual visits to Italy. He lives to delight the public with
his dishes.
“It’s people loving what they have that keeps you going as
a chef,” said Profeta. “It’s a great feeling.”
The comfortable restaurant seats only 50 and is regularly
filled to capacity with diners hungry for the tomatoes, garlic,
capers and cream sauce Profeta serves up in dishes like mozzarella
caprese and spinach ravioli with pine sauce. Meals
are garnished with fresh herbs from the garden and edible
designs are painted on the dessert plates to the delight and
surprise of guests.
Casa Bella has been voted best romantic escape by Best Romantic
Escapes magazine and has a Zagat rating of very good
to excellent, plaques Profeta displays proudly on the walls.
He has dedicated himself to his restaurant, pouring his love
and talent into every dish, and enjoys sharing the fruits of his
labor with anyone who is willing to partake.
Profeta invites anyone looking for a place to dine that feels
like home to “Treat yourself to a dining experience with the
freshest of ingredients and the best quality.””
