SPIRITS
54
Having superb spirits is always important at Blue Star
Wine Bar, but so is food and music. “Music is important to
me, because Columbus (Wagner’s native city) is a music
town,” says Wagner. Live music is the norm at Blue Star.
“The acoustics are phenomenal,” says Wagner. Local bands
such as Old Barber Bridge, Voodoo, Sleepin Dogz, and St.
Johns Wood play regularly. Once a month, a band plays
on the roof.
The outdoor patio at Blue Star will seat 50 people who can
dine under the stars, sampling some of the restaurant’s small
plates such as imported cheeses or skewered meats. Also
available are chicken pot pie and personal pizza. The menu
changes regularly.
