Heritage Celebration – Kick
off the Fourth of July week
with America’s favorite things
– burgers and brews. The free
street festival will be held in
downtown and feature music,
specialty cuisine, the Best
Burger in Indian River County
competition, variety of brews,
family-friendly games, a VIP
tent, an apple pie eating contest,
and a local celebrity dunk
tank. Celebrate Vero Beach’s
centennial by joining a historical
walking tour of downtown
and a Where’s Waldo? scavenger
hunt. Proceeds will benefit
United Against Poverty of Indian
River County. 1- 9 p.m.

area, along 43rd Avenue
to 16th Street school area to
McKee and Miracle Mile/Young
Park on the mainland, and
Beachside historical references
with several stops along the
way including the airport,
Memorial Island, Vero Beach
Museum of Art, the marina,
dog park and the rowing club
area. Maximum of 20 people
per tour and reservations can
be made by calling the City
Clerk’s Office by 3 p.m. on the
Friday before at 978.4700.
Those attending should meet
at the Chamber of Commerce
in downtown Vero Beach at
8:45 a.m.

• Fourth of July Celebration,

Zambelli. The annual family
day will be held at Riverside
Park and feature bands, food
trucks, a beer garden, vendors,
a children’s area and fireworks
at 9 p.m. 1 p.m.-10 p.m.

day at the Recreation Department’s
outdoor activity center.
Families can enjoy the use of
the pool with free swimming

an ice cream social during the
