area, along 43rd Avenue
to 16th Street school area to
McKee and Miracle Mile/Young
Park on the mainland, and
Beachside historical references
with several stops along the
way including the airport,
Memorial Island, Vero Beach
Museum of Art, the marina,
dog park and the rowing club
area. Maximum of 20 people
per tour and reservations can
be made by calling the City
Clerk’s Office by 3 p.m. on the
Friday before at 978.4700.
Those attending should meet
at the Chamber of Commerce
in downtown Vero Beach at
8:45 a.m.
Sunday, May 26
• Founder’s Day – There will be
a Centennial Tree dedication
at MacWilliam Park as the Tree
and Beautification Commission
commemorates the day the
city was incorporated in 1919.
1:30-2 p.m.
• Family Day Celebration
– Food trucks and family
entertainment will be featured
at Riverside Park following the
tree dedication at MacWilliam
Park. 2-4 p.m.

Festival, named the Summer
Sundance by the Huffington
Post. More than 75 films will be
screened and more than 100
wines from around the world
will be offered.

Edition, Night of Nations – Historical
downtown will be transformed
into an international
festival, divided up into different
continents allowing attendees
to have their passports
stamped after walking through
various countries. Vendors will
be selling authentic clothing
and merchandise from different
countries; people can
participate by dressing up in
traditional outfits from their
native countries. There will be
dance music from countries
all over the world and a Taste
of the World food court at
the Heritage Center. For more
