and The Driftwood Inn.

• Waldo’s Flag Ceremony and
Time Capsule – In recognition
of the city’s centennial,
a horse-drawn carriage will
deliver a time capsule filled
with photographs and a
myriad of artifacts to Waldo’s
Restaurant at The Driftwood on
Ocean Drive. It will be buried at
the foot of the newly purchased
flagpole in front of the
restaurant. The celebration will
include an antique car show
and a musical performance by
the Charter High School Band.

Riverside Park by the River will
be the site of the tasty 30-team
challenge. The Humdingers
Band and Slip and the Spinouts
will perform. Judging
will be at 6 p.m. Ms. Centennial
Anna Valencia Tillery will
judge the People’s Choice chili.
Organized by Sunrise Rotary.

Museum of Art on Jan. 4. The
Vero Beach Art Club will judge
