The Treasure Coast has two important milestones to celebrate this year: the centennials of Martin and Indian River counties.
Treasure Coast Food Bank held its annual ‘Pack the House’ event in late October, rallying the community to pack 15,000 holiday meal boxes for neighbors who are struggling financially. Over the two-day event, 1,000 volunteers helped raise $65,000 — equivalent to 520,000 meals — and assembled 500 disaster relief kits, which went to those affected by Hurricane Milton.
