Favorite holiday memory: “About five years ago, my sister
and I took our two daughters on a holiday trip to London
and Paris. We were finishing a journey that my mother didn't
get to take when she died on the first leg of a 7-city tour
to Europe. She stepped off the plane and collapsed with an
embolism. A few years later, we finished her trip for her. It
was bittersweet, visiting the cities my mother had dreamed
of seeing, and wonderful, too, sharing it with my sister and
our daughters.”
