by the TCS board of directors, an arrangement that
ended in 2000. With the renovations of Fort Pierce’s
Sunrise Theatre completed, the TCS found a new
home. “We enjoy performing at the Sunrise Theatre,’’
Kate Torick says. “It is a beautiful theater that
enhances the performances of the orchestra and provides
the audience with a comfortable, elegant
atmosphere.”
The orchestra welcomes new players and always
has a need for strings, Stephen Torick says. “Anyone
in the community may be considered for membership
in the orchestra, provided their level of skill, as
demonstrated in an audition, meets the orchestra’s
