one of the many gatherings of their large family when Jackie visited from her home in California. All are now deceased.

7he origins of the building today Nnown as the Sechuan
3alace began when :aldo saw a small building being moved
down State 5oad . 7he building had been Ard·s *rocery
store, and :aldo convinced the driver to deliver it to a lot he
owned on rd Avenue, where it has resided ever since.
:aldo initially opened it as the 7urf &lub in as a place
where artists could ehibit their talents. :hen that venture
proved unprofitable, he transformed it into a restaurant.
7hough lacNing many of :aldo·s touches on the eterior, the
inside is pure :aldo, with wormeaten wood, plaster medallions,
ornate wrought iron touches and various art worNs.
7he restaurant building has been operated as the Sechuan
3alace for the last years with the Liang family leasing it
from Seton ,nc.
THE PATRIARCH
