At Becker Preserve, a quiet stretch of conservation land managed by the Environmental Learning Center, native swamp lilies are in full bloom, offering a rare glimpse into Florida’s wetland biodiversity.
Celebrate Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the MidFlorida Event Center from 4-9 p.m. with traditional German music, dancing and maybe a wiener dog race. There will be traditional keg tapping, a flag ceremony, German attire and biergarten. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Call 807.4488 for more information.

Enjoy the Port St. Lucie Strawberry Festival at the MidFlorida Event Center on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Savor the deliciousness of Plant City strawberries in strawberry shortcake and other delicious dishes.
