Opening Friday, July 31st at Treasure Coast Theatre is the hilarious original comedy, The Bare Truth, by local playwright Howard Brown.
A retired couple, recently settled in South Florida, want to get their children off their backs. Fearing that their parents are unable to tend to themselves, the children won’t leave them alone.
With the help of a friendly retired neighbor couple, they hatch a drastic plan to get some needed alone time. They convince their kids that they have become nudists.
Their ploy works, but not the way they expected. They learn a few things about their children, grandchildren and neighbors along the way.
The comedy runs for three weekends July 31-August 21.
