The Louisiana Purchase doubled the size of our country, the Suffragettes fought for women’s right to vote, the Apollo 11 moon landing expanded our horizons, the 9-11 attacks unified us – two and a half centuries of building and expanding the democratic republic that is America with more memorable moments than we can recount. Join the Treasure Coast Chorale on Sunday, May 24th for a memorable concert as we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States and honor our veterans both past and present as we “Let Freedom Ring.” Proudly wear that red, white, and blue and join us – 4:00 at the First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Ave., Vero Beach (opposite the main library) – doors open at 3:00.
