The dedication of Indian River State College’s Public Safety
Training Complex was the culmination of much hard work.
The high-tech 50-acre facility is the first of its kind in the nation.
It allows inter-agency training and simulation that will
draw students from across the nation. Dr. Edwin Massey and
state Sen. Joe Negron were highlight speakers at the dedication
ceremony, which included the lighting of an eternal
flame to commemorate the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001.
