 Cream colored draperies frame the windows and expose  
 wide views of the golf course. It’s a classic demonstration of  
 the power of the less-is-more approach.  
 His and hers bathrooms were both refreshed, his with textured  
 grass cloth walls and hers with cabinets painted a soft,  
 off-white color. 
 Once all the decisions on color, fabric and furniture designs  
 were complete, the Halls decamped for their summer home  
 in Virginia. 
 “We were not allowed to see any pictures or anything, it’s  
 kind of their way of doing things,” Sam Hall says. 
 “Of course they’re allowed,” Hyatt Councill says, “We just  
 say we would love it if you would let us do it,” and then they  
 could deliver the big reveal.  
 Upon their return to Evergreen Club, Hyatt Councill and  
 Davant greeted their clients with everything in place down to  
 fresh flowers and champagne.  
 The Halls entered their home in a speechless state.  
 “Our first impression was a huge wow,” Sam Hall says. “It  
 was so gorgeous. Everything was so light and bright and airy.  
 The house appeared to have gotten so much bigger. I actually  
 cried. It was as if I was on the TV show.” 
 The Davant team had accomplished a spectacular revision  
 of a sophisticated residence now living up to all its unique  
 qualities and with its bountiful character well intact.
