One of the most extensive private collections of works by artist M.C. Escher is on display at Vero Beach Museum
of Art. The exhibit, which runs until Dec. 30, includes all eight of the artist’s mezzotints.

This Treasure Coast art season is packed with thrilling exhibitions. Art enthusiasts interested in Modern art will be captivated by shows featuring M.C. Escher at the Vero Beach Museum of Art as well as science fiction illustrations at the A.E. Backus Museum. Later in the season, both the Vero Beach Museum of Art and the Elliott Museum will celebrate the centennial discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb in Egypt. Furthermore, local Florida artists will have special exhibitions at the Elliott and the A.E. Backus museums highlighting Florida’s beauty. Be sure to mark your calendar for these wonderful exhibitions, ranging from modern to ancient art.
