The New York Mets spring training headquarters, Clover Park, is home to the Single A St. Lucie Mets farm team.

One of Port St. Lucie’s best-kept secrets is the summer fun of the Silver Sluggers program offered by the St. Lucie Mets organization. Exclusively for those aged 55 and older, it provides social activities surrounding the St. Lucie Mets team.

The St. Lucie Mets schedule runs from April through September. Silver Sluggers members who opt for the Silver Package are provided free parking and free admission to every Tuesday night home game at Clover Park, as well as two Wednesday afternoon games scheduled for the Florida State League’s summer season. Along with admission and parking, members receive a free hot dog and a T-shirt.

The Platinum Package includes admission and parking for Tuesday night home games, a couple of Wednesday afternoon games and all the Friday evening home games. For people who love baseball, this is an ideal offer. On Tuesdays, platinum members get a free hot dog and on Fridays, a free soda or water.
