Boys & Girls Clubs ensure season is special

The community comes together to provide gifts and food for more than 2,000 children through Operation Merry & Bright. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF MARTIN COUNTY

Operation Merry & Bright helps make Christmas the most wonderful time for children in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County.

“The holiday season is a time for warmth, togetherness and celebration, but for many families, it can also bring financial challenges,” said Andrea Shaffer, outgoing special events manager for the Boys & Girls Clubs. “The gifts donated to the kids do more than just light up their holidays — they spark a sense of community, belonging and hope. With the community’s support, we’re not just giving presents: We’re creating cherished memories, filling hearts with joy and ensuring every club kid and their family feels the true magic of the season.”
