Peacock House aims to be center for Fort Pierce arts — and beyond

Signs of creative energy are everywhere in Fort Pierce’s Peacock Arts District. Vibrant murals stretch across otherwise unassuming walls. Painted pots line Orange Avenue. Actual peacocks roam the streets. 

The majestic birds popularly dwell around a light terracotta home that stands out along the road. It is decorated with captivating ceramic tiles and introduces itself with blue letters across its façade: The Peacock House.
