3300 N. A1A, Fort Pierce, 772.595.5845, navysealmuseum.org

The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum draws thousands of visitors each year to its home on North Hutchinson Island where they can enjoy both indoor and outdoor exhibits.

It is a world-class museum dedicated to preserving the history of the U.S. Navy SEALs and their predecessors, the Underwater Demolition Teams. It was built on the beach where the original Navy combat divers trained for dangerous missions. It opened on Veterans Day in 1985 and achieved national status in 2007.

Its main objective is to educate by providing the opportunity to explore the history of the Navy SEALs through interactive exhibits, while honoring the fallen at the SEAL Memorial and caring for those warriors’ families through Trident House Charities.
