One of the top courses on the Treasure Coast, Fairwinds has earned 4.5 stars on Golf Digest’s list of Recommended Places to Play.

Far removed from any residential area, this attractive course winds through a sanctuary of Florida’s undisturbed natural flora and fauna. It is not uncommon to see alligators, wild hogs, sand hill cranes and even an occasional bald eagle.

The championship layout features rolling fairways, lakes and well-bunkered greens and has six sets of tees playing from 3,800 to 6,800 yards. The layout is fun for new golfers, yet challenging for the seasoned professional.

The course offers a newly expanded learning center and instruction for those who want to improve. Among other things, the learning center has a 12,000-square-foot TifEagle putting green, a 4,000-square-foot putting green and multiple bunkers featuring different contours.
