Sandridge Golf Club, owned by Indian River County, wins raves from golfers who love its layout, its challenging holes and the great condition in which the courses are maintained. Repeat visits are common.

Sandridge is recognized as one of the finest golf facilities open to the public in the state of Florida. It has been rated four-and-a-half stars by Golf Digest for four years in a row on their annual “Places to Play” listing. Its two courses, The Dunes and The Lakes, offer championship golf to all levels of player.

The two 18-hole championship layouts were designed by Ron Garl. The Dunes course opened in April 1987 and the Lakes opened in December 1992.

With an island green on the front nine to rolling hills on the back nine, the Dunes course winds around an old ridge that runs up the East Coast of Florida that was once used for mining operations. The Lakes course features one of the toughest holes in all of South Florida, the 14th hole — a par 4 with an island green.

Both group and private instruction are offered. And, there are county and Florida discount cards available.
