SMOKED ON THE WATER

Smoked On The Water has smoldered the competition and won Indian River Magazine’s Best BBQ on the Treasure Coast Voters' Choice Contest. Husband and wife duo Colin and Chris, Ireland born and coined locally as the “Irish BBQ Mastas”, studied the United States BBQ culture upon their arrival to the states. By climbing through "Hole in the Wall" food joints, on a saucy road from North Carolina to their current Florida homestead, the couple was able to a create a BBQ style they can call their own.

“After many fun times, often around food, we started talking about what it would take to start a BBQ Pit.  Of course, a name was required.  We are on the coast, we are near water, Chris came up with the name Smoked On The Water and the name just worked for us all,” said owner Colin Stephenson.

Funky Claude, if you know what they mean, is the name of their trusty smoker and drives their inspiration to deliver specialty menu items. Chef Ed is the name of a friend and collaborator who has helped Chris and Colin put Smoked On The Water on four wheels. Thus, starting their food truck adventure together in the beginning of 2021.

The menu has gained popularity with many locals throughout the Treasure Coast and they have a lot to say.
