Working side by side with the Cobb’s trained bartenders,
local celebrities James Taylor, Maryann Ketcham, Dana
McSweeney and Erin Fletcher helped serve up drinks for a
sizable crowd of thirsty spectators. All tips and pre-event
fundraising dollars, which totaled more than $25,000, went
toward the purchase of Thanksgiving turkeys for local families.
Founded in 2012, Family Meals provides the necessary
ingredients, such as an uncooked turkey, fixings and dessert
so families can prepare meals in their own homes.
