Gregory Enns
Gregory spent 30
years working as a
reporter and editor
at newspapers
in Florida and
Alabama before
returning to the
Treasure Coast in
2006 to start Indian
River Magazine.
Besides Indian River and its sister
publications, Fort Pierce Magazine and Port
St. Lucie Magazine, Gregory also launched
two magazines in Alabama, including a
football magazine covering the Crimson
Tide. He and his wife, Gretchen, are the
parents of three children. He enjoys
cycling, gardening and playing the
trumpet.

Allen Osteen
Allen is a Fort
Pierce native who
grew up in St. Lucie
Village. Besides
his involvement
with Indian River
Magazine, he is
also co-owner of
East Coast Lumber
& Supply Co., with
operations in Martin, St. Lucie, Indian
River and Brevard counties. He is a past
president of Main Street Fort Pierce, Fort
Pierce Rotary and the Florida Building
Material Association. He is a member
of the Advisory Board of Directors of St.
Anastasia Catholic School. Allen and his
wife, Terry, live in Vero Beach.

Judith Collins
Sports has always
played a role in
Judith’s life and
career from playing
golf and tennis to
writing about it as
the first woman
sports writer in South Florida. A graduate
of Skidmore College, Judith has worked
for eight newspapers on the East Coast
during her 40-plus years in journalism.
Jay Goley
A graduate of
the University of
Florida, Jay started
his journalism
career after serving
with the Marines
and the Navy,
tracking satellites
and fixing cars.
He and his wife, Becky, have three sons.
He enjoys sailing, biking, reading and
computers.

Michelle Moore-
Burney
Michelle is a
native
of Fort Pierce and
has a Bachelor of
Arts degree from
the University of
Central Florida. She
and her husband,
Michael, are the parents of a daughter,
Zoe Leurie.
WRITERS
Sandra Thurlow
A native Floridian
who lives in Sewall’s
Point, Sandra is the
author of history
books on Stuart,
Sewall’s Point,
Jensen Beach and
the House of Refuge. She likes working in
her yard when not collecting and sharing
local history. She and her husband, Tom,
and three grown children are all active in
the community
Susan Burgess
A Treasure Coast
resident since the
early 1980s, Susan
has worked for
the Jensen Beach
Mirror and The News
Tribune. A bicycling
enthusiast, she
thinks nothing
of riding 20 or 30 miles. A graduate
of Columbia University and New York
University, Susan is a big fan of eagles.
Donna Crary
A fifth-generation
Floridian, Donna
moved to Martin
County in 1983. She
has a bachelor’s
degree from the
University of North
Florida and trained
at the ABC affiliate
in Jacksonville. She belongs to a book
club and enjoys cooking gourmet dinners
for husband, Rick. >>
