THE EMERSON CENTER 2021 – 2022 SEASON
Classic Albums Live Performs
The Rolling Stones’ Let It Bleed
Thursday, Dec. 30, 7 p.m.
This highly acclaimed
album released by The
Rolling Stones in 1969
has “tones that are at
once dark and perfectly
clear, while the words are
slurred and buried for a
stronger musical effect”
according to Rolling Stone
magazine’s review. The band carries the songs past
lyrics and into pure emotion. There’s an obscure but
tangible story line that follows the collection of songs
that include “Gimme Shelter,” “Midnight Rambler,” “Let
it Bleed,” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
Classic Albums Live performs the album in its entirety
note-for-note, cut-for-cut and recreates one of the
Rolling Stones’ most treasured albums.
