received a loan for the remaining balance, paying it off using
revenue from hotel room taxes.
“We knew it was achievable and the fans will have a great
new experience,” says Jeff Bremer, St. Lucie County deputy
administrator. “We had to finish the project balancing the
needs of the fans and the needs of the team. There are a lot of
enhancements.
“Pardon our dust, some areas won’t be complete. There will
be plenty of parking, seats, food and drink and merchandise.”
