Timing and fate can be everything in
real estate.
When Paul and Christine Dekker were
visiting Port St. Lucie in 2009, they happened
to stop by a model home in Town Park at
Tradition. The on-site agent for Minto Homes happened
to mention the model would be for sale the
next day.
“We stopped by on a Friday night and found
out the model would be for sale on Saturday,” says
Paul Dekker, a retired railroad manager from New
Jersey. “We shoved a few rubles across the table,
and they passed the keys back. We got a good deal
and got in at a good time.”
It was at the end of the recession, and the
Dekkers liked the way the model was fully furnished
and tastefully decorated. “It was turnkey
and that is what we loved about it,” says Christine.
We fell in love with the area and found everything
very convenient.”
