had an established Catholic parish, St. Anastasia’s, headed by
the Rev. Gabriel Ruppert.
Today, many of the Archambaults’ descendents still proudly
call Fort Pierce and St. Lucie County home and St. Anastasia
their parish. Many in the family still live on the Archambaults’
original homestead, where citrus trees were first planted in 1915.
The family remains in the citrus business.
Forget, the son of Archambault’s daughter, Armande, and
Conrad Forget, who was a French-Canadian from Montreal,
remembers that the couple entered a number of enterprises in >> Louis C. Forget, and much of his family, still lives on the original homestead,
