New hospital to offer neuroscience, robotics and cardiac advances

Port St. Lucie’s newest hospital will bring advanced medical care and hundreds of jobs to the area when it has its planned opening set for Sept. 9.

The Florida Coast Medical Center is a 185,000-square-foot facility with 54 inpatient beds that offers 24-hour emergency care and general surgery along with specialized services such as neurosciences, orthopedics, robotics, spine treatment, urology, advanced cardiac care, and diagnostic services.
