The moment giant scissors snipped and the grand opening ribbon dropped, roller skaters flew onto the smooth concrete surface of Port St. Lucie’s brand new Skate City. The long-awaited opening in Whispering Pines Park near Treasure Coast High School happened Jan. 29.
