Better care is a career and a mission for Cleveland Clinic VP

Studies show that “girl dads” may have an edge when it comes to leadership: They’re more likely to inspire cooperation and trust. Cleveland Clinic Indian River’s Vice President and Chief Medical Officer 

Dr. Richard Rothman is a great example. 

With plenty of reasons to be proud — given the accomplishments he has observed and facilitated at Indian River Hospital and beyond — Rothman loves talking about his daughters. Both elementary students at Saint Edward’s School in Vero Beach, one wants to be a veterinarian; the other, a surgeon. “But the other day I was talking to them,” he said, “and [it’s] pickleball player and cheerleader.”
