Pumpkin Patch
Have a hauntingly good time at the Harvest Bonfire and Hayride on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 2-8 p.m. at McCarty Ranch Preserve, 12323 Range Line Road in Port St. Lucie. Walk the jack-o-lantern trail with more than 200 hand-carved pumpkins. Bring your chairs to this free event. Winners of the best Neighborhood Scarecrow Competition in Port St. Lucie will be announced. Call 878.2277 for more information.

• St. Lucie County Aquarium’s Smithsonian Exhibit of saltwater marine life in living native habitat – This is the once-a-month free admission day. This is also beach cleanup day for volunteers who want to participate from 8 to 10 a.m. 462.3474
