Our Town

This flowering Royal Poinciana tree along Woodstork Trail in Port St. Lucie’s Hillmoor Lake Park seemingly captures the essence of an A.E. “Bean” Backus painting. The trail is a 1.7-mile loop and takes about a half-hour to complete. A wide paved path offers scenic views of the water and is a favorite of those interested in birding, fishing and running. Dogs are also welcome, but must be on a leash.
