warm, welcoming, and highly professional environment.
The South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Ortho Injury
Walk-In Clinic has been treating adult and pediatric patients
throughout St. Lucie and the surrounding counties since its
grand opening in June 2018. The Ortho Injury Walk-in Clinic is
conveniently located in the heart of Tradition and treats new
and acute orthopaedic injuries without the need for a scheduled
appointment. Patients have immediate access to orthopaedic
specialists trained specifically to treat orthopaedic injuries.
Why should you go to the Ortho Injury Walk-in Clinic instead
of an urgent care center or emergency room?
There are three distinct advantages to coming to the Ortho Injury
Walk-in Clinic over an emergency room or urgent care.
1. It saves you time. A typical visit to the Ortho Injury Walkin
Clinic provides prompt access to an orthopaedic specialist.
In fact, patients are often treated in less time than a visit to an
emergency room or urgent care, and if casting is required, they
can take care of it right then during your visit.
2. It saves you money. The co-payment at Ortho Injury
Walk-in Clinic is the same as a specialty physician office visit, which
is less expensive than a trip to the hospital emergency room.
3. You see an orthopaedic specialist
immediately. When you visit the Ortho Injury Walk-in Clinic,
you will be seen by an orthopaedic specialist in a state-of-the-art,
orthopaedic-specific facility. If you visit an urgent care center or
E.R., you may be seen by a specialist or provider with a different
area of expertise, before being referred to an orthopaedic
specialist. If follow-up care is required after your visit to the Ortho
Injury Walk-in Clinic, your follow-up will be scheduled with an
orthopaedic physician before you leave to make the next step of
your treatment as easy and seamless as possible. Also, because
only orthopaedic patients are treated at the Ortho Injury Walkin
Clinic, there is a reduced chance of infection compared to a
hospital visit.
