made by volunteers over many months

Lucie Community Center on Airoso Boulevard
hosts this dazzling annual light show set to
holiday music. See more than 40,000 lights

Tuesday, Dec. 1-Wednesday, Dec. 23
• HoliDAYS at McKee – Visit McKee Botanical
Garden during the day for this year’s holiday
events. There will be no events at night. The
hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday;
noon-5 p.m., Sunday. Closed Mondays. Last
tickets are sold at 4 p.m. Children’s Garden
closes at 4:30 p.m. Each week has a theme:
Dec. 1-6: Naughty or Nice; Dec. 8-13: Winter/
Frozen Wonderland; Dec. 15-20 and 22-23: Let’s
Spread Some Holiday Cheer. Each week features
a character breakfast and lunch with a different
set of characters, some great live musical
performances, classic holiday movies including
Frozen masks required, photo opportunities
with toy soldiers, snowmen and more, daily
games, crafts, activities and story time. Expect
intermittent snow flurries, enjoy holiday trivia

evening of shopping, refreshments and fun from

for homeless families and veterans in St Lucie
County. Bring new unwrapped toys for children
of all ages and new or gently used clothing,
household supplies or offer financial donations

magical mangrove tunnels covered in holiday

Holiday Celebration as the theme this year.

tree-lighting ceremony, the night-time Rockin’
Holiday Celebration parade, a great midway
carnival and of course a spectacular fireworks

• Special Needs Holiday Luncheon – Caregivers
bring your special needs person to this wonderful
luncheon and holiday entertainment just for
them. It features lunch, dancing, festive music
and a special visit from Santa. $5 per person
Ages: 15 and older. Limited to 80 guests, caregivers
are included in the number of participants.
