Ballet Vero Beach in an interpretive
dance performance inspired
by the stunning “Kinetic Sculpture:
the Poetics of Movement”
exhibition in the Titelman Gallery
through Jan. 4. The museum’s
curator of collections and exhibitions,
Jay Williams, enhances the
experience with insight into each
artist’s work.
Other exhibitions that carry over
into 2015 are “Restoring the Spirit:
Celebrating Haitian Art” (to Feb.
1) and “Carol Brown Goldberg:
Recent Work” (to Jan. 4).
The successful union of the
Vero Beach Museum of Art and
the Atlantic Classical Orchestra
continues with the ACO’s
chamber music series. It begins Jan. 18 with a concert of French music.
Music on a contemporary note fills the atrium in the “Concerts in the
Park” series.
The “Environmental Photography” exhibition that begins Jan. 24
showcases major contemporary photographers, including James Balog,
whose images of endangered wildlife and “Extreme Ice Survey” capture
the essence of man’s effect on nature.
The same day sees the opening of “Howard Ben Tré: New Sculpture,”
