There’s a new way to stay active and healthy in Port St. Lucie: the Fitness Parks Pass. Beginning Nov. 1 and running through the end of April, the city government’s goal is to provide seasonal, affordable outdoor classes, in local parks, encouraging wellness and fostering community connections.

The Fitness Park Pass began as a collaborative effort between Anne Stadius, recreation manager at Port St. Lucie Community Center; Larry Lankow, her counterpart at MidFlorida Event Center; and Conrad Sherman, retired director of parks and recreation. Various coordinators and instructors also took part in its development.
