Georgette Beck has had more than a fair share of disappointments, struggles and seemingly insurmountable challenges, but the author, speaker and podcaster firmly believes God eased the way for her, as He can do for everyone.
Low self-esteem, a tumultuous marriage, financial struggles, loneliness and stress were once part of Georgette’s journey through life, but she credits God’s support for illuminating her path and directing her forward to a full scholarship, great career and marital bliss with her second husband, Scott.
The founder, president and CEO of Bella Healing Hearts Foundation, Georgette delivers her message of hope through several channels. The nonprofit Bella Healing Hearts serves single-parent families through this chapter of their lives with mentorship, guidance, scholarships, financial assistance and referrals to other groups that can offer help.
Her Junk to Jewels hit podcast aims to lead listeners through a transformative journey of the soul through captivating stories, wisdom of her guests and actionable strategies to heal, motivate and inspire.
Georgette, who considers herself a Jesus-faith girl and a heart healer, engages with her readers and followers through her social media engagement and in-person events to guide individuals from “the junk moments in life to discovering your inner jewels.”
“I’m devoted to sharing insights from my personal spiritual journey, coupled with heartwarming stories and life-changing truths,” she said.
Her new book, Junk to Jewels, a Journey from Brokenness and Despair to Beauty and Delight, is currently available in the hard copy edition and will be released on Amazon come Jan. 21, 2025, in both audio and hard copy formats. The book documents a real-life woman’s journey from utter despair and hopelessness to joy and peace. Georgette’s mistakes, pains and lessons serve as a beacon of light to hope and healing.
“God’s love is powerful and life-changing,” she said.
Both Georgette and Scott are lay ministers who have earned master’s degrees from Liberty University. In the past, the Port St. Lucie couple have been indefatigable volunteers. Georgette volunteered with Big Brother Big Sisters, the Guardian ad Litem program, the Girls Scouts and Hibiscus Children’s Center.
Scott and Georgette are very active in their community. As members of TC3 Church, they serve on the prayer team and the welcome team. They serve the Treasure Coast as Realtors with Beach Front Mann Realty. Georgette is a member and volunteer with The Royal Palms, which has served underprivileged Treasure Coast families since 2002, and a member of the Go Getter Girl Network. Scott is on the board with the local Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League.
“My heart resonates with the mission to inspire, encourage, educate, mentor and motivate others,” she said.
Years of ministerial experience and insights gained from her Master of Arts degree in Human Services Marriage and Family Counseling, plus her positive, uplifting spirit make Georgette a popular motivational spirit that helps her audiences discover the path to healing and purpose as they navigate life’s challenges.
Georgette joins Scott in Junk to Jewels Coaching Services to provide two different perspectives, backgrounds and life experiences that help clients to better achieve personal and professional goals. The couple offers life coaching, faith and spiritual coaching and mentorship.
“By working with both of us, clients benefit from the combined wisdom and insights of both a male and female perspective,” she said.
Throughout the wide range of endeavors that occupy her busy, busy life, Georgette seeks to deliver the message that God’s love is always present, no matter how dark the circumstances, and that healing and transformation are always possible with His help.
“It’s never too late to follow your dream,” Beck said.
