Slow, inconsistent decline in COVID-19 cases continues
While the trends aren’t consistent or rapid, statistics of coronavirus cases show a decline of additional daily coronavirus cases since the highs of early April.
The decline can be seen in the accompanying charts.
Today’s report was no exception. An additional 17 cases were reported today for the Treasure Coast, off the April 6 high when 51 new cases were reported.
St. Lucie County reported 10 new cases, bringing its total to 179, while Indian River County reported four new cases, bringing its total to 81, and Martin County reported three new cases bringing its total to 140. The three counties reported no new deaths from the day before.
Florida reported an additional 816 cases for a total of 220,897. The state’s highest daytime increase was reported April 3.
