No coronavirus deaths on Treasure Coast for 5 straight days

The Treasure Coast hasn’t had a coronavirus death on the Treasure Coast reported for five straight days, the longest stretch since the first death was reported March 27.

The deaths for the three counties has remained at 39 since May 4, with 25 deaths in St. Lucie, eight in Indian River and six in Martin.

Today’s Florida Department of Health report showed an additional 15 cases of coronavirus for the Treasure Coast. Martin had an additional 10 cases for a total of 43, St. Lucie had an additional four cases for a total of 275, and Indian River had one additional case for a total of 100.

Also today, Florida reported one of its lowest case increases in recent weeks. The state reported an additional 371 cases for a total of 39,199. The state reported an additional 69 deaths for a total of 1,669 deaths in the state from coronavirus.
