Just one new coronavirus case reported for Treasure Coast
Just one new case of coronavirus was reported today on the daily digital dashboard of cases maintained by the Florida Department of Health.
St. Lucie County today stayed at 239 cases for the second day in a row while Indian River County remained at 90 cases for the third day in a row. Martin County had the additional case, for a total of 186 cases.
Also today, another death from coronavirus was reported in Indian River, a 65-year-old man who recently had been to New York and New Jersey, bringing the county’s death toll to seven. Martin has had five deaths and St. Lucie has had 22.
Florida also had a slower growth in cases, up 347, the lowest increase since March. The state now has 33,193 cases with 1,218 deaths.
