Since Max Weinberg played from The Emerson Center stage in 2019, audiences have been clamoring to have him and his band return for another fabulous show! Next came the Pandemic, and then his endless tours with his mainstay, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band! Until now! That’s right! Max Weinberg’s JUKEBOXreturns to The Emerson Center stage to perform as the kick-off show for LIVE! From Vero Beach on Monday Evening, December 16 at 7 p.m. Call this late, great addition a Christmas miracle. We call it a Christmas gift to our audiences!
LIVE! From Vero Beach is a production of MusicWorks. Tickets for this special attraction show are on sale now ranging from $50-$110. A personal Meet & Greet with Max will be held following the show. The VIP tickets for the Meet & Greet are an additional $115 and will include a photo opportunity and autographs for up to two items of memorabilia. Please note a separate ticket is required for the Meet & Greet. The website for the show and the VIP tickets is www.MusicWorksConcerts.com.
Max “the Mighty Max” Weinberg, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame drummer and TV personality, is most widely known as the longtime drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and as the bandleader for Conan O’Brien on Late Night and The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Max is a pro’s pro and so is his entire band! Max, a bundle of drive, neurosis, wily suburban street smarts, and a source of great humor, has found a place where Bernard Purdie, Buddy Rich and Keith Moon intersected and made it his own.
Max Weinberg’s Jukebox is a truly interactive experience! Weinberg invites the audience to create the set list, in real time, that he and his crack four-piece group will play. Performing songs from the glory days of rock & roll our guests get to choose from a video menu of over 200 songs — everything from the Beatles to the Stones to Bruce and The E Street Band’s biggest hits — and hear the group play ‘em the way they want to hear them played! That’s right—the crowd gets to yell out their choices and Max plays them! This unique approach is fun and satisfying. How many times have you attended a show where you yearned to hear your favorite performer play your favorite song? With Max Weinberg’s Jukebox your dream will be realized.
LIVE! sponsors include Joe & Denise Corr, Cindy O’Dare and Richard Boga of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, John & Linda Colontrelle, Ocean Grill, AC and Ann Starkey, AMAC Alex MacWilliam Real Estate, Barbara Ruddy and ABC Printing. Our non-profit partners this year are Big Brothers Big Sisters of IRC., The Emerson Center, Grand Harbor Community Outreach and St. Francis Manor.
