The Pelican Island Conservation Society will celebrate the 122nd anniversary of the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge the weekend of March 14-16, 2025. Festivities begin with a “fireside chat” with President Theodore Roosevelt at the Heritage Center on Friday, March 14th. President Roosevelt will also join us throughout the weekend at the Refuge to meet and greet everyone.
